Final Day.. and a summary of Vietnam.
A few things I learnt,
I have met some of the most amazing people on this trip
In places like Bali and Vietnam, there is no such thing as traffic safety. I got told by locals to ‘just walk between the traffic and the traffic will work around you’. They couldn’t be more right. I also got told that ‘there is no such thing as too close’. Again. Completely correct. I have never been as close to a car or bus or scooter whilst trying to cross a road. It is chaos all of the time.

I don’t feel like I did ‘as much’ in Vietnam. I was only in Hanoi and got to see a lot of the Old Quarter, and travel our to places like Ha Long Bay. But this was fine, it’s a different culture again here to the places I’ve visited so far so different things to do and explore. It was also nice to just take each day as it came and make a 5 minute plan rather than long term.
I got ink’d!
Final day in Vietnam and also final day of my adventure. I really wanted to get a tattoo whilst I was away and this was the perfect opportunity. I had spare cash and no plans for the late afternoon. I wanted this tattoo for a long time and the studio really did a good job. What a way to finish off a great trip.

It’s now nearly 9pm so I’m going to bed soon (earliest all week I think!) I’ve gotta be up at 5am to get to the airport for my flight in the morning back to the UK.
I’ll be sad to leave my adventure behind but I’m already starting to think about my next trip… stay posted!
