Hello from Hanoi.

After a 14hr 35min flight (I didn’t realise it was so far away from Aus) I am so thankful that I paid $70 to upgrade my seat to Vietnam. COMFORT!!

The flight to Vietnam seemed like the longest one yet, it was a two part flight stopping in Kuala Lumpur but it felt like forever. Forever.

However, finally here!

I spent most of today trying to adjust my body clock again… currently -4 hours from Australian time, so it’s been a struggle adapting again, all I’ve wanted to do all day is sleep so I’ve been trying to chat to people at the hostel to keep myself going. It’s now 6pm and NYE!

The bar at the hostel has a happy hour 6-7pm with free beer (can’t complain) and as it’s NYE they are doing some crazy good deals, even when it’s super cheap anyway. 55k VND for a cocktail… that’s about £2.30.!!

Anyway, crazy good leg room for the flight. Crazy good prices for alcohol. Crazy cool people that I’ve met so far. See y’all on the other side!
